Job Description

The Job Mission

This is a hybrid role, open to those living within a commutable distance to Bridgwater. A small relocation package is available to support your move. You’ll provide vital engineering support on embedded steelwork during the construction phase, ensuring quality, compliance, and safe delivery across key structures.

Your mission includes:

πŸ”§ Responding to technical queries and non-conformances

πŸ— Reviewing embedded steelwork on pools and tanks

🧰 Supporting contractors and quality teams on site

πŸ“‹ Managing open points and design changes

βš™οΈ Monitoring risks and implementing mitigations

πŸ”„ Supporting transition into M&E fit-out phase

Qualifications

Skills and Experience

πŸŽ“ Degree or equivalent in Engineering

πŸ”© Experience in steelwork manufacture or installation

πŸ”₯ Background in welding or fabrication engineering

βš›οΈ Understanding of nuclear or heavy regulated sectors

πŸ“ Familiar with structural assessment and design review

βœ… Knowledge of acceptance and handover requirements
