Job Description
Your tasks:
► Development and support of optical systems for camera-based ADAS (Advanced Driver Assistance Systems) products
► Performing optical measurements with strong focus on lens sharpness measurement and optical validation
► Support of lens development, lens reviews and optical module related activities
► Cooperation in image sensor and optical imager module related projects
► Participation in laboratory measurements and analysis in bright and dark optical laboratories
► Support of serial production related optical topics and troubleshooting
► Close collaboration with international development teams in Germany, China and India
► Cooperation with cross-functional teams including project management, testing and architecture related areas
Qualifications
► BSc/MSc degree in Physics, Mechatronics, Informatics or comparable field (optical specialization is an advantage)
► Practical experience in optical measurements and optical laboratory environment
► Experience with lens sharpness measurement or similar optical validation activities
► Understanding of optics and electronics fundamentals
► Matlab and/or Python programming skills
► Good English and/or German communication skills
What gives you further advantages:
► Experience with optical imaging systems or camera systems
► Knowledge of Trioptics or similar optical measurement tools
► Experience in automotive or ADAS related development environment
► Hands-on experience with optical modules, image sensors or lens systems
