Meet the team

Our Sales team sits at the heart of Choco’s mission. We partner with food service distributors to digitize their operations, helping them run more profitable and less wasteful businesses. By connecting suppliers with restaurants, retailers, and group caterers, we drive transformation across the food ecosystem.

As a Senior Account Executive, you’ll be instrumental in expanding our footprint in this evolving industry. You’ll own the full sales cycle — from prospecting and relationship-building to closing — supported by a team of SDRs, CSMs, and Solutions Engineers. Together, you’ll be driving the digital transformation of food distribution with Choco’s incredible product.

This position is available to sit remotely with a requirement to travel from 10% to 20%.

What you will do

  • Own the full sales cycle from initial outreach to signing contracts with food service distributors.

  • Build and nurture relationships with prospective customers through targeted outbound outreach, referrals, and existing networks. You’ll run live demos of our solutions for suppliers, creating excitement, urgency, and a clear sense of value from the very first conversation.

  • You’ll introduce suppliers to innovative AI solutions that revolutionize how they operate — educating key decision-makers and demonstrating the real impact technology can have on their business.

  • Prospect and build sales pipeline, identifying high-potential partners through targeted outbound strategies, referrals, and networking within the food service ecosystem.

  • Build meaningful, enduring partnerships with distributors based on trust and shared success. Your ability to create win–win outcomes and close deals will fuel relationships that continue to grow and deliver impact across the industry.

  • Think creatively and bring forward fresh ideas, smarter processes, and new opportunities that elevate the customer experience and set a new benchmark for excellence.

  • This role goes beyond revenue targets — you’ll help reshape the future of food distribution, fueling innovation and building a more efficient, sustainable, and connected food system.

The ideal candidate

  • Over 5 years of proven success in sales, either in SaaS or within the food distribution industry.

  • Track record of independently prospecting, qualifying, and closing new business with consistency and accountability.

  • Exceptional communication and negotiation skills, with the ability to engage confidently with both executive leaders and operational stakeholders.

  • Collaborative and humble team player who takes ownership, acts decisively, and contributes to a culture of shared success.

  • Driven by impact — passionate about driving innovation and helping build a more sustainable food system.

  • Skilled at influencing deal strategy, sharing best practices, and helping scale negotiation frameworks across the team.

  • Proactive in supporting teammates to reach their targets and improve collective performance.

  • Strong cross-functional collaborator, partnering effectively with SDRs, regional sales operations, and leadership to manage pipeline and accelerate deal progression

Compensation Range

  • The compensation range (OTE) for this position is $175,000. - $225,000. The actual compensation offered depends on the qualifications of the individual applicant for the position, years of relevant experience, specific and unique skills, level of education attained, certifications or other professional licenses held, and geographic location in which the applicant lives and/or from which they will be performing the job.
