Job Description
The main responsibility of this role is the coordination and steering of Software Asset Management (SAM) and Target Licensing within the Supplier & License Management (SLM) area.
Key Responsibilities:
Manage software licenses for external customers and Deutsche Telekom internal units using dedicated tools
Monitor and report on license usage, demand, and available license pools
Optimize license utilization and costs (Target Licensing)
Provide license consulting to internal stakeholders
Ensure data quality and deliver recommendations for platform decisions based on licensing impacts
Manage relationships with software suppliers
Handle internal license charging and cost allocation
Qualifications
Strong knowledge of license metrics and policies of strategically relevant software vendors
Solid experience with SAM tools (e.g., Flexera, USU, Raynet), including preparation of license balances and reports
Excellent understanding of Software Asset Management processes and best practices
Proven project management skills
Experience working in international, cross-functional teams, including the use of agile tools and methods
Basic contract knowledge
Personality: Open, communicative, precise, diligent
Language skills: GER C1 ENG B2
