This role

As the Growth Product Manager, you will lead the website/product strategy, vision and delivery roadmap, ensuring our website experience drives measurable growth outcomes across organic traffic, engagement, conversions, and ultimately additional ARR.

This role is an integral part of the Website Experience, SEO & Conversion team within Growth Marketing. You’ll work closely with cross-functional teams to ensure we deliver exceptional value to our users.

We’ll champion your development and challenge you to be bold, ambitious, and data-driven in shaping the next phase of our website and organic growth journey.

As our Product Manager, you’ll be responsible for

Web Product Management & Delivery

  • Responsible for the delivery of the website experience, SEO and conversion web product vision and its success.
  • Translate website strategic growth goals (organic traffic, lead generation, conversion improvements) into a clear web product deliverables roadmap.
  • Drive web product discovery for features and initiatives on the roadmap.
  • Build world-class web products to scale organic growth e.g. AI search/GEO, programmatic SEO, product-led growth (SEO/GEO) builds, global expansion, web performance improvements etc.
  • Ensure roadmap execution always ties to measurable growth impact.
  • Monitor and adapt web product vision and roadmap to constraints while staying aligned with vision.

Backlog Management

  • Own the delivery cycle for website projects end-to-end, from scoping to release.
  • Maintain and prioritise the backlog, ensuring alignment with growth marketing priorities and user needs.
  • Drive sprint ceremonies and ensure the squad is delivering against roadmap commitments.
  • Balance strategic initiatives, stakeholder expectations (inbound requests), and customer needs against what can feasibly be delivered, making trade-offs based on impact and resourcing.
  • Write clear user stories, acceptance criteria, and requirements for engineering and design while applying a strategic mindset.
  • Represent the customer and business during sprint planning and release prioritisation decisions.

Collaboration & Cross-Functional Leadership

  • Partner with SEO and Conversion teams to bring their initiatives into the roadmap (e.g. SEO tools, programmatic SEO, new landing pages, form optimisation), ensuring they are delivered efficiently.
  • Collaborate with UX/UI/Web Designers to deliver high-quality website experiences through best-in-class designs that drive engagement and growth.
  • Work closely with the Engineers to align on feasibility, capacity planning, QA, and delivery of the designed solutions.
  • Work with the data experts to produce insights with clear visibility into website performance towards our goals; enabling data-driven decisions on priorities, iterations, and roadmap planning.
  • Serve as a key point of contact for cross-functional stakeholders (Marketing, Sales, Product, UX, senior leadership) on website priorities, alignment, and resourcing.
  • Represent the website product/engineering squad in leadership forums, ensuring dependencies with other squads are unblocked.

Measurement & Continuous Improvement

  • Define success metrics for all website initiatives in collaboration with the website, SEO and Conversion lead and managers.
  • Monitor data analytics, performance and experiment results to inform new iterations and future priorities.
  • Drive a culture of testing, iteration, and evidence-based decision-making.
  • Continuously optimise workflows and delivery processes for greater velocity and impact, particularly through the adoption of AI.

Who you are

To thrive at Employment Hero, you’ll need to embody The EH Way - operating with focus, agility, and an obsession with impact. For this role, you’ll also bring:

  • Undergraduate degree (Business Systems, IT or Engineering disciplines preferred).
  • 5+ years of experience in growth product management, ideally with exposure to growth, SEO or conversion-focused initiatives. The ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously is essential.
  • 3+ years working experience with software development teams using agile.
  • Innovative thinking with a passion for problem-solving and user-centric design.
  • Proven success leading and coordinating cross-functional squads of engineers, data analysts, designers, marketing, sales, customer and product stakeholders in an agile environment.
  • Possess a growth-mindset with strong knowledge/interest in growth levers, particularly SEO and CRO, and how they integrate into web product delivery.
  • Experience working on large-scale websites, CMS platforms, or programmatic SEO builds is strongly preferred.
  • Background in marketplaces or B2B/B2C SaaS strongly preferred.
  • Analytical and data-driven (both qualitative and quantitative), with a proven ability to produce sensible insights to measure impact and make prioritisation decisions based on evidence. Strong attention to detail is required.
  • Proven commercially acumen, able to balance business goals, user needs, and technical feasibility.

Technically sound and able to support the team in prioritising tech debt reduction, bugs and new features in conjunction with the web product vision and roadmap.

  • Excellent communicator, able to explain priorities and progress to stakeholders at all levels, including executives.
  • Able to write well-defined specifications to clearly communicate expected product outcomes.
  • Adaptable and self-driven: able to navigate uncertainty, challenge the status quo, adjust plans when needed, and unblock progress quickly while thriving in fast-paced, high-growth environments.
  • You’re deeply motivated to harness AI, automation and emerging technologies like machine learning to improve efficiency, consistency, and impact at scale.
  • Experience validating ideas and generating user feedback through different customer research methodologies.

Bonus experience

  • Direct experience with SEO and analytics tools (e.g. Ahrefs, SEMRush, GSC, Google Analytics) and CRO experimentation tools (e.g. VWO, Optimizely).
