We at Coforge are hiring Senior Software Engineer (React/Python) (#19946) with the following skill set.
Key Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain scalable web applications using Ruby on Rails, React, and relational database technologies.
- Build and optimize backend services, data flows, and application performance using MySQL, Redis, ElasticSearch, and Sidekiq.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to implement new features, troubleshoot issues, and ensure high-quality software delivery.
- Contribute to modern development practices and continuously improve engineering efficiency and system scalability.
Required Skills & Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Technology, or equivalent practical experience.
- 5+ years of experience in software engineering or full stack development roles.
- Strong hands-on experience with Ruby on Rails and MySQL.
- Experience developing frontend applications using React.
- Familiarity with Python and willingness to work with or expand expertise in Python-based solutions.
- Experience with Redis, ElasticSearch, and Sidekiq for scalable backend systems.
- Strong understanding of relational databases, query optimization, and system performance.
- Experience working with REST APIs and modern web application architecture.
- Familiarity with Agile/Scrum development methodologies.
- Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and collaboration skills.
Preferred Skills:
- Experience with TypeScript.
- Exposure to scalable distributed systems and performance optimization practices.
- Interest in expanding expertise in Python-based development workflows.
