DIVISION OVERVIEW

The global TA team supports all full time recruitment for 16 offices, covering; Sales, Research, Technology and Business Services.  This role sits within the Americas TA function with a primary focus on Mexico City recruitment but will provide support to our offices in Santiago and Sao Paulo.

Purpose of the role

We are looking for a Talent Acquisition Executive based in Mexico City to join our Americas TA team.  This role will report directly to the Mexico Country Manager with close working relationship to Head of TA, Americas. The TA Executive is part of Euromonitor’s HR team and will support the recruitment needs for all permanent recruitment for all business teams in Sales, Research, Consultancy, Technology, and Business Services.

The Talent Acquisition Executive is responsible for sourcing, attracting, and hiring top talent to support the company’s growth and business objectives. This role requires a proactive approach to recruitment, ensuring a seamless and positive candidate experience while collaborating with hiring managers to meet workforce needs.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

Talent Sourcing & Attraction:

o    Develop and implement sourcing strategies to attract top-tier talent through job boards, social media, networking, and direct outreach.

o    Maintain and enhance employer branding through recruitment marketing initiatives.

o    Build and maintain a talent pipelines for future hiring needs.

o    Actively contribute to building diverse and inclusive teams by applying inclusive sourcing strategies and mitigating bias throughout the recruitment process.

o    Establish and nurture relationships with local universities, graduate programs, and professional institutes to create a sustainable pipeline of early-career talent.

o    Partner with leadership in process to design and implement creative outreach initiatives, including talent events, hackathons, and partnerships with academic institutions to proactively build talent pipelines.

End-to-End Recruitment Process:

o    Manage the full recruitment lifecycle from job posting to hire.

o    Partner with hiring managers to understand role requirements and develop job descriptions.

o    Screen applications, conduct initial interviews, shortlist candidates.

o    Schedule and coordinate interviews between candidates and hiring managers.

o    Facilitate offers and negotiate employment terms where necessary.

Candidate Experience & Engagement:

o    Ensure a positive candidate experience by maintaining clear communication throughout the hiring process.

o    Provide timely feedback to candidates and hiring managers.

o    Coordinate onboarding activities for a smooth transition into the organisation.

o    Maintain accurate records of recruitment activities within the Applicant Tracking System (ATS) – Workable.

Skills, knowledge and experience

The successful candidate will have:

•      A strong technical ability to recruit across multiple sectors

•      Extensive experience in managing a busy recruitment desk, internal or agency

•      The flexibility to work on both evergreen and brand-new roles

•      Extensive use of an ATS system, super user status an advantage

•      Excellent written and verbal communication / telephone manner - demonstrated through an approachable personality, rapport building and negotiations skills

•      Excellent organisational skills and ability to take ownership and responsibility

•      Able to work under pressure and prioritise a heavy workload

•      Ability to build networks internally and externally

•      Ability to work well in a supportive, collaborative team environment as well as to work independently

•      High accuracy and attention to detail

•      Experience building and partnering with local Universities preferred

•      High levels of professionalism and confidentiality

•      IT literate - MS Word, Excel and Outlook

•      Experience in all social media especially LinkedIn

•      Strong English proficiency required

•      Portuguese language skills helpful but not required
