We are now looking for a skilled Project Manager Officer to join our team. In this role, you will support the project management office by overseeing project governance, providing guidance on project management best practices, and ensuring that all projects align with our strategic goals.
Responsibilities:
Develop project management frameworks and standards for the organization.
Support project managers in the execution of projects, monitor compliance to project management methodologies, and ensure alignment with organizational goals.
Oversee project documentation and reporting processes to ensure accuracy and clarity.
Facilitate communication and collaboration between project teams.
Identify and manage project risks and issues, and propose effective solutions.
Conduct project audits and assessments to ensure adherence to governance frameworks.
Provide training and support to project managers and team members on project management tools and methodologies.
Create and maintain project dashboards and performance metrics to track project status and deliverables.
Support the development of strategic project plans and assist in resource allocation.
Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Project Management, or a related field.
Minimum of 4 years of experience in project management, preferably in a PMO role.
Strong understanding of project management methodologies (Agile, Waterfall, etc.).
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Proficiency in project management software tools (e.g., Microsoft Project, JIRA, Trello).
Ability to manage multiple projects and priorities in a fast-paced environment.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
Nice to have:
Experience with process improvement methodologies such as Lean or Six Sigma.
Experience in risk management and project governance.
Certification in Project Management (PMP, PRINCE2, or similar).
