Role: Project Manager (SEO), APAC

Location: Mumbai, India

Work timings: 7:00am to 4:00pm

About the role:

We are seeking a SEO Project Manager to own the APAC SEO strategy and performance. You will build and manage a robust keyword playbook, train stakeholders, maintain SEO reporting across paid and organic channels, and deliver market-level insights that drive measurable growth. This role partners closely with content, web, analytics, and paid media teams to improve discoverability, engagement, and conversion across priority topics.

What you will be doing:

  • Think with Google Keyword Playbook creation and management: build, maintain, and govern a scalable, taxonomy-based keyword playbook tailored to APAC markets and focus topics.
  • Create and share training documents on how to make the best use of the keyword playbook; conduct live and recorded training sessions for content, SEO, paid media, and market stakeholders.
  • SEO dashboard maintenance and biweekly performance tracking across paid and organic channels; ensure data accuracy, consistency, and clear narratives for decision-making.
  • Produce APAC markets bi-monthly report commentary and end-of-project analysis with actionable recommendations.
  • Provide one monthly competitive insight package for APAC with SERP screenshots, focused on priority content topics for TWG and Ads.google.com.
  • Monitor performance of top-performing pages on TWG and Ads.google.com, especially during migrations; track technical health and SEO performance, propose key SEO considerations, and analyze site architecture for internal linking opportunities.
  • Conduct competitor gap analyses, identify keyword opportunities, and provide insights to optimize TWG and Ads-related content across the funnel.
  • Partner with content editors and product marketing to influence editorial roadmaps, briefs, and on-page optimization (titles, headers, internal links, schema, UX elements).
  • Collaborate with web and engineering teams to prioritize and validate technical SEO enhancements (CWV, crawl/indexation, hreflang, sitemaps, redirects, canonicalization).
  • Align paid and organic strategies to maximize share of voice on priority topics, optimize SERP real estate, and improve CTR.
  • Socialize insights and drive adoption of recommendations across global and in-market stakeholders; establish governance and QA processes.

What you need to be great in this role:

  • 7+ years of hands-on SEO experience across technical, content, and analytics for enterprise websites
  • Strong command of keyword research, topic clustering, and content performance optimization.
  • Comfortable building and maintaining multi-source dashboards; skilled at translating data into clear stories and actions.
  • Excellent stakeholder management, training, and communication skills; able to influence cross-functional teams and senior leaders.
  • Solid understanding of how paid search and organic search interact; experience aligning strategies across channels.
  • Passion for and inquisitive about AI and new technologies
  • Understanding and knowledge of AI tools is beneficial, but ability to learn and digest benefits and features of AI tools is critical.
