Job Description
Requirements
- Hands-on experience with Microsoft 365 administration (Exchange Online, Teams, SharePoint Online).
- Strong understanding of Proofpoint or similar email security platforms.
- Knowledge of Azure Active Directory, conditional access policies, and user provisioning.
- Solid troubleshooting skills for O365 mail flow and Microsoft Teams collaboration issues.
- Understanding of Identity & Access Management (user onboarding/offboarding, AD group administration).
- Basic knowledge of Endpoint Management for Windows/Mac devices and printers.
- Familiarity with VPN and network access dependencies for collaboration tools.
- Awareness of ITIL processes and service reporting metrics.
- Understanding of incident management workflows and SLAs (Freshworks or ServiceNow).
- Relevant certifications:
- Microsoft 365 Certified: Administrator Associate
- Microsoft Messaging Administrator (or similar)
Responsibilities
- Manage O365 tenant administration including mailbox provisioning, distribution lists, shared mailboxes, and migration activities.
- Configure and maintain Proofpoint email security policies (anti-spam, anti-phishing, DLP).
- Monitor and troubleshoot mail flow issues such as bounces, delays, compromised accounts, and quarantines.
- Administer Microsoft Teams including user provisioning, collaboration policies, access controls, and issue resolution.
- Ensure email security and compliance, including oversight of DLP alerts and access governance.
- Manage O365 licensing, conduct service health checks, and generate usage reports.
- Coordinate with vendors for incident resolution and escalations.
- Maintain up-to-date documentation for configurations, policies, and operational procedures.
Qualifications
Bachelor’s or master’s degree in computer science, Information Technology, or a related field.
