Purpose of the Job

To ensure that:

  1. file reviews are conducted to the highest standards of quality and accuracy.
  2. the Global File Review team members have the knowledge, skills and support they need to effectively carry out their responsibilities and contribute to Ocorian’s compliance efforts.

Main Responsibilities

Quality Control

  • Perform Quality Control (QC) on file reviews to ensure completeness, accuracy, and adherence to AML/CFT standards.
  • Document findings and ensure all relevant information is properly assessed.
  • Flag missing or inconsistent information for further review.

Feedback & Coaching Support

  • Assist in identifying training needs and support knowledge sharing.
  • Work closely with QC team members to clarify findings.
  • Assist in coordinating training sessions.

Collaboration & Communication

  • Work closely with the QC team and File Review team to support daily tasks.
  • Liaise with team members to gather input and ensure smooth workflow.
  • Identify discrepancies and support standardisation of review practices.
  • Participate in team discussions and knowledge-sharing sessions.

Document Management

  • Update and maintain QC-related documents, templates, etc.
  • Ensure version control and proper records of updated materials.

Documentation & Reporting

  • Record QC findings accurately in tracking tools.
  • Prepare summaries of issues identified for review by team members.
  • Support quality reporting and analysis for continuous improvement.

Qualifications

  • Degree in Law, Finance, Management, or related field
  • Compliance-related certification or training is a plus

Knowledge/Skills/Experience

  • Minimum of 2 years’ experience in compliance, quality control, or a related role
  • Exposure to AML/CFT framework across multiple jurisdictions is an advantage

Competencies

  • Strong knowledge of AML/CFT regulations across multiple jurisdictions
  • Well-versed in different types of structures (Companies, Trusts, Partnerships, Funds, Foundations)
  • Strong focus on quality and accuracy of deliverables
  • Analytical and critical thinking
  • High attention to detail
  • Effective communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively
  • Good organisational and time management skills
  • Tech-savvy and comfortable with digital tools
