About the Role

We are hiring a Senior Engineering Operations Specialist to drive operational excellence across our Engineering, Product, and Design (EPD) organization. Reporting to the Senior Engineering Operations Manager, you will play a hands-on role in executing and improving our delivery approaches, Agile practices, and operational processes across 40+ cross-functional teams.

You will coordinate organization-wide initiatives and help teams adopt best practices that enable them to deliver high-quality, customer-centric solutions with speed and autonomy. This role requires a strong initiatives leadership mindset combined with technical understanding of modern engineering practices.

In this role, you will take care of:

Program Leadership & Execution

  • Lead and support complex cross-functional initiatives across multiple engineering teams and engineering leaders, ensuring visibility and timely delivery
  • Support quarterly and annual planning cycles by gathering data, coordinating schedules, and maintaining planning artifacts
  • Track and report on initiative progress, risks, and dependencies to stakeholders

Agile & Process Excellence

  • Champion Agile discovery&delivery practices across teams, promoting continuous improvements that brings technical teams closer to business discovery, moving beyond pure execution mindset
  • Partner with Product Managers to enable engineers contributing to solution ideation and strategic product decisions
  • Conduct team health assessments and facilitate improvement workshops
  • Maintain and optimize team workflows in Jira, ensuring consistent practices across the organization
  • Support the implementation of Scrum-based frameworks and help teams mature their Agile practices
  • Champion practices that keep technical teams engaged in business discovery, moving beyond pure execution mindset

DevOps & Metrics

Even though you wonโ€™t be directly responsible for DevOps implementation, we expect you to:

  • Understand CI/CD pipelines and deployment processes
  • Create and maintain dashboards in Jira and Grafana for operational visibility
  • Help analyzing delivery metrics (velocity, cycle time, quality metrics) across teams, identify trends to inform process improvements
  • Leverage AI tools to create automation scripts that improve team efficiency

Knowledge Management

  • Document and maintain operational processes, best practices, and team guidelines
  • Facilitate knowledge sharing sessions and communities of practice

About you

Must-Haves

  • Experience: 4+ years in Engineering operations, Project Management, or Agile delivery roles
  • Agile Expertise: Strong experience with Scrum and Agile methodologies in software development environments. Experience moving teams from delivery-only mindset to customer-centric, business-driven approach.
  • Change Management: Ability to take a proactive role in change management, applying expertise to anticipate and address challenges during organizational changes.

Proven implementation experience of impactful complex initiatives is expected from a candidate.

  • Tool Proficiency: Hands-on expertise with Jira for project tracking and team coordination
  • Technical Understanding: Knowledge of CI/CD concepts and modern DevOps practices
  • Automation Skills: Ability to write simple automation scripts using AI assistance, vibe-coding experience is desirable
  • Program Management: Experience coordinating cross-functional initiatives and managing stakeholder communications
  • Analytical Skills: Strong ability to gather, interpret, and present operational data
  • Communication: Excellent facilitation and communication skills
  • Language: English proficiency at C1 level

Nice to Haves

  • Scrum Master certification (CSP, PSM2), Scaled Agile framework certifications (LeSS, etc)
  • Experience working in SaaS/Product companies
