About the Role

We’re looking for a Senior Business Intelligence Analyst to transform data into actionable insights that drive strategic decisions across the organization. In this role, you’ll design and maintain BI solutions, collaborate with cross-functional teams, and support data-driven decision-making. You’ll report to the Manager of Business Intelligence and work closely with stakeholders across marketing, operations, and technology. This is a hybrid position based out of our downtown Phoenix, AZ office.

Essential Responsibilities

Technical Ownership

  • Design, build, and deploy scalable BI solutions aligned with business needs.
  • Maintain and enhance existing BI systems and data analytics platforms, primarily PowerBI.
  • Develop and optimize ETL pipelines and automation processes.
  • Conduct unit testing and troubleshoot issues to improve operational efficiency.

Reporting & Analysis

  • Gather, analyze, and interpret complex data to deliver actionable insights.
  • Create reports, dashboards, and visualizations that support both quantitative and qualitative analysis.
  • Respond to ad-hoc reporting requests across multiple business areas.

Cross-functional Collaboration

  • Partner with BI developers and data engineers to integrate systems and translate business requirements into technical specifications.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to understand goals and ensure data solutions meet strategic objectives.
  • Develop and maintain technical documentation to support BI processes.

Strategic Impact

  • Identify opportunities for process improvement and data-driven decision-making.
  • Influence business strategy through advanced analytics and predictive modeling.
  • Mentor junior analysts and contribute to BI team development.

Required

  • 5+ years of experience as a BI Analyst or in a similar data-focused role.
  • Proficiency with Power BI and other data visualization tools.
  • Strong SQL skills; familiarity with Snowflake and Fabric
  • Experience with Microsoft Power Platform, Tableau, or QlikView.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.

Bonus Points For

  • Experience designing and maintaining ETL pipelines and automation.
  • Understanding of data lake architecture and design principles.
  • Familiarity with DevOps CI/CD methodologies.
  • Background in transportation, logistics, or SaaS environments.
