Job Description
We’re looking for an in-house language professional dedicated to producing high-quality translations, providing interpreting support, and using their skills in an international setting. You might be the language expert we’re looking for.
This role is hybrid - Based in Budapest
As an in-house translator, you will be expected to:
- Translate clinical trial/medical documentation as well as business correspondence and technical documents pertaining to the activities of company departments
- Localize and customize translations to meet regulatory requirements
- Edit, proofread, and review translated documents
- Develop translation templates for routine/standard documentation
- Act as an interdepartmental liaison in matters related to the editing and review of translated documents
- Interpret at meetings/conferences, if required
Qualifications
- University degree in Foreign Languages (English) / Linguistics (Translation and/or Interpreting Studies is a plus)
- Proficiency in a second foreign language is a plus
- Professional training and/or certification in Translation is a plus
- Hands-on experience in English - Hungarian translation
- Medical & healthcare translation experience is a plus
- C2 level in English and native Hungarian
- Strong writing skills; excellent grammar and spelling
- Proficiency in Microsoft Applications, including Word, Excel and PowerPoint
- Ability to use CAT tools
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and multi-task
- Attention to detail, ability to provide accurate and complete translations within set timeframes
