Things You’ll Do

  • Develop Remediation Processes: Build and implement comprehensive processes for tracking and remediating security findings, including those from vulnerability scans, penetration tests, incident response, and application security testing, ensuring alignment with best practices and regulatory requirements.
  • Coordinate Security Initiatives: Lead initiatives that address security vulnerabilities, collaborating with cross-functional teams to assess risks and implement necessary changes.
  • Monitor Progress and Metrics: Establish and manage key performance indicators (KPIs) to track the effectiveness of remediation efforts and report on progress to senior leadership.
  • Continuous Improvement and Automation: Proactively identify bottlenecks and inefficiencies in the remediation workflow and lead initiatives to streamline and automate processes.
  • Facilitate Security Awareness: Work with teams across the organization to promote understanding of vulnerability management processes and the importance of timely remediation.
  • Engage with Engineering Leadership: Collaborate with engineering leadership on long-term strategic changes that enhance security posture and integrate seamlessly into product development lifecycles.

  • Process Development Skills: Demonstrated ability to build and optimize processes for security findings, showcasing initiative and strategic thinking.
  • Problem-Solving Abilities: Evidence of effectively addressing complex security challenges and driving results through analytical thinking and proactive planning.

Remember, it’s not about how many years you’ve worked; it’s about what you’ve achieved during that time that counts.
