Salary: $47,250 - 57,750 p.a. full-time equivalent, dependent on experience

Basis: Permanent: full-time, part-time or flexible

Eligibility: You must be eligible to work in the US

The role

We are looking to appoint a Program Coordinator to join the Raspberry Pi Foundation’s US team to support the delivery and growth of our education-focused programs.

Reporting to the Executive Director, the Program Coordinator will ensure that educators, schools, and community partners have a positive experience engaging with our programs. You’ll coordinate logistics for training and events, support onboarding and communications, and manage systems and data that help us deliver impact at scale. You’ll also be part of a highly collaborative team that works across program, marketing, and partnerships functions to expand access to high-quality computing education.

We are looking for someone who has experience working with schools and youth-focused community organizations, and who brings strong coordination and organizational skills. You don’t need to be an expert in computer science or coding, but you do need to bring passion for our mission and a willingness to learn.

This role is based in Metro-Atlanta, Georgia which is one of the locations in the US where we have established a team. While some work will focus on Georgia, a significant portion will be national in scope, with opportunities to travel across the US.

We strive to make the Foundation a place where talented people who care about our mission can do the best work of their careers. We have a flexible and collaborative approach to all aspects of our work. If you’re the right person for the job, we’ll make it work for you, and you can be confident that you’ll be working with an exceptional team.

Responsibilities

  • Support the implementation and delivery of program activities across the U.S.
  • Coordinate scheduling, logistics, and materials for program activities, including team meetings, professional development sessions, webinars, and events (virtual and in-person)
  • Support onboarding for new educators, schools, and partners, ensuring they have the information, access, and resources needed to succeed.
  • Track and maintain accurate program records in databases (e.g., Monday.com, Salesforce) to support reporting and data-driven decision making.
  • Respond to inquiries from educators and volunteers, providing timely and helpful information and escalating more complex questions as needed.
  • Gather and synthesize user feedback to help the team continuously improve program design and delivery.
  • Support educator outreach efforts at conferences and other events to increase program visibility and engagement.
  • Contribute to cross-team collaboration, ensuring US  program efforts are aligned with global initiatives and priorities.

Experience and personal attributes

We recognise that everyone has the potential for growth and development. We expect post holders to have most, but not necessarily all of the following experience and personal attributes:

  • 2+ years of experience in program coordination, customer success, or education partnerships
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with empathy and professionalism in interactions.
  • A good understanding of the US education system.
  • A strong alignment with the Foundation’s mission and values, particularly around educational opportunity and access.
  • Flexibility, adaptability, and a collaborative approach to working with colleagues and external partners.
  • Experience of the collection, management, and analysis of feedback and data, and the ability to use that to drive improvement. Ideally you will have experience of working with Salesforce, but if not we can support you with training.
  • The ability to travel within the USA.

About us

The Raspberry Pi Foundation is an independent nonprofit with a global mission to enable young people to realize their full potential through the power of computer science and digital technologies. In the US we operate through Raspberry Pi Foundation North America which is a registered 501©(3) organization.

We empower schools to teach computer science and AI literacy through free curricula, classroom resources, purpose built software tools, and professional development for teachers. We inspire young people to become tech creators through the world’s largest networks of coding clubs. We undertake original research that informs our work and which we use to advance the field of computer science education more broadly.

All of our resources and learning experiences are available for anyone to use at no cost. We are particularly focused on creating opportunities for young people who experience educational disadvantage and those who come from backgrounds traditionally underrepresented in technology industries.

Over the past decade, we have supported hundreds of thousands of educators and tens of millions of students. We have teams in six countries (India, Ireland, Kenya, South Africa, the UK and US) and partnerships with mission-aligned non-profit organisations in over 60 countries.

We are at the forefront of the global educational movement to expand access to computer science education and AI literacy. You can learn more about our work in our latest Annual Report.
