As a Smartly Launchpadder, you’ll dive into the world of user assistance, taking ownership from day one, solving challenges that matter, and working alongside some of the brightest minds in content and tech.
We’re offering a tailored 6-month program where you’ll be a full-fledged team member, learning hands-on while contributing to a global product. If you show us what you’re made of, there’s the potential for a permanent position at the end of the program.

Here’s What You’ll Do at Smartly…
- Make content with purpose: Create great user assistance content in writing and in video, to be used by thousands of people working for the largest online advertisers globally.
- Collaborate with top talent: Work with amazing teams who are as excited to learn and grow as you are.
- Level up your skills: Master documentation processes and tools while adding real-world experience to your portfolio.
- Make a difference: Help customers directly—solve technical challenges, provide support, and improve the product that powers advertising at scale.
Here’s What We’re Looking For…
- Problem solvers: You’re a curious, creative thinker who loves to tackle complex challenges head-on.
- Hands-on experience: Whether through internships, side projects, or previous roles, you have a passion for technical writing and the tools of the trade.
- A love of learning: You’re eager to grow and take on new challenges in an environment that encourages feedback and development.
- Solid foundation: You understand how to write procedures, and you’re familiar with concepts like markdown, content reuse and instructional videos. But you’re also not afraid of not knowing things yet!
- English proficiency: You need to be an expert in both written and spoken English.
- Availability to work full-time (37.5 hours per week) for the entire 6-month program.
- Ability to work in a hybrid capacity from our Helsinki office (3 days a week).

Program Details
- Apply before: October 30, 2025. Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
- Application process: Initial recruiter call → Technical writing assignment with our Senior Technical Writer → Interview with the team Manager.
- Program start date: Ideally in the beginning of January 2025.
- Duration: Six months, with a strong possibility of a permanent contract afterward if everything goes well.
