Position Overview:

StepStone is looking for a customer-centric, detail-oriented individual who will work with a team that manages fund operations and client relations for numerous U.S. 33-Act, 40-Act closed-end registered funds and various international feeder (Cayman) and Alternative Investment Funds (Lux). The person should have a solid understanding of investment operations and strong communication skills.

Essential Job Functions:

  • Manage the daily operations and facilitate the redemptions and dividend processes of all offshore funds (with a focus on Cayman feeders) as it pertains to investor services
  • Understand and operate within the various jurisdictions, rules for distribution and product structures
  • Coordinate with respective fund vendors on investor access, communications, reporting, and investor account set-up and maintenance
  • Assist with StepStone Group (SSG) on educational calls with offshore distribution partners and/or clients
  • Coordinate with internal departments, such as fund accounting, tax, compliance, distribution and legal related to the respective fund and/or investor inquiries

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in finance, business administration, management or business preferred
  • One+ year of related financial services experience required (private equity, operations, or client relations)
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Strong Excel skills and familiar working with Adobe Acrobat
  • Highly motivated individual with demonstrated initiative, independence and adaptability
  • Strong analytical and organizational skills and high attention to detail
  • Proven customer service skills

Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:

  • Acute attention to accuracy and detail
  • Effective communication skills and strong problem-solving skills
  • Ability to prioritize activities while working on multiple projects and achieve target deadlines
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Excel, Word, and SharePoint
  • Fluent (verbal and written) in Spanish is preferred
  • Team oriented yet self-driven
  • Multi-lingual is favorable
  • Interest in global financial markets and/or international business experience
  • Strong work ethic
  • Flexible work schedule

The salary range is an estimate of pay for this position.  Actual pay may vary depending on job-related factors that can include location, education, skill, and experience.  The salary range does not include any benefits or other forms of possible compensation that may be available to employees.
