At Version 1, we’re looking for a PeopleSoft Finance (Accounts Receivable) Functional Consultant who can confidently engage with clients, assess and enhance complex Finance solutions, and provide deep expertise across Accounts Receivable, GL, AP, and Billing. Peoplesoft Finance (Accounts Receivable) Functional Consultant

Job Description

We require a highly experienced PeopleSoft Finance (Accounts Receivable) functional consultant to join our team to work on the optimisation of existing Finance solutions.

You must have extensive PeopleSoft Financials experience, as a functional expert across Accounts Receivable, GL, Accounts Payable, and Billing and at a latest functionality release.

Key Duties & Responsibilities:

You will be:

  • Understanding, creating and developing the client’s requirements
  • Overseeing the current solution
  • Delivering/vanilla PeopleSoft (latest Image) against the requirements
  • Writing detailed reports of recommendations to meet the requirements
  • Agreeing new solutions
  • Building, testing and deploying the agreed solutions
  • Transferring product knowledge to the client

Qualifications

You will have customer-facing expertise in the following areas:

  • Excellent consulting skills to understand client requirements
  • Ability to map business processes to a system solution, identifying gaps and solutions
  • Excellent depth of PeopleSoft Finance understanding, including current features
  • Good breadth of knowledge across the Finance application, with specific areas of expertise
  • Excellent communicator
  • Team Player who is also comfortable taking leadership responsibility
  • Highly effective working remotely and within disparate teams
  • Good understanding of UK banking processes
