You will be:
designing, developing, and maintaining LookML models and explores, ensuring best practices in architecture, governance, and security,
optimizing query performance and collaborating with data engineers to ensure efficient data structuring and ingestion,
building and optimizing dashboards in Looker and Looker Studio, ensuring seamless integration with BigQuery and other cloud data sources,
developing interactive, self-serve reporting solutions to empower business users, while ensuring consistency in branding and storytelling,
working closely with stakeholders to translate reporting needs into scalable solutions and mentoring a junior data visualization engineer,
implementing data governance, security best practices, and CI/CD processes for LookML and dashboards,
creating documentation and training materials to drive Looker and Looker Studio adoption across the organization.
Requirements
Your profile:
5+ years of experience in data engineering, analytics engineering, or a similar role,
proven experience with Google BigQuery and Looker (LookML) in a production environment,
strong SQL skills and experience with data modeling best practices (e.g., star/snowflake schemas),
familiarity with dbt or similar transformation tools,
strong understanding of data governance, lineage, and documentation,
excellent communication and stakeholder management skills,
proven ability to mentor junior engineers, fostering growth and technical excellence,
excellent communication and storytelling skills, able to explain data insights to non-technical audiences,
passion for data governance, security, and best practices in enterprise analytics.
Work from the European Union region and a work permit are required.

Nice to have:
experience with TMS data structures and logistics/supply chain data is a strong plus,
experience with CI/CD pipelines for LookML deployment,
knowledge of other BI tools (Tableau, Power BI) and their integration with cloud data warehouses.
