Job description

We Breathe Life Into Data

At Komodo Health, our mission is to reduce the global burden of disease. And we believe that smarter use of data is essential to this mission. That’s why we built the Healthcare Map — the industry’s largest, most complete, precise view of the U.S. healthcare system — by combining de-identified, real-world patient data with innovative algorithms and decades of clinical experience. The Healthcare Map serves as our foundation for a powerful suite of software applications, helping us answer healthcare’s most complex questions for our partners. Across the healthcare ecosystem, we’re helping our clients unlock critical insights to track detailed patient behaviors and treatment patterns, identify gaps in care, address unmet patient needs, and reduce the global burden of disease.

As we pursue these goals, it remains essential to us that we stay grounded in our values: be awesome, seek growth, deliver “wow,” and enjoy the ride. At Komodo, you will be joining a team of ambitious, supportive Dragons with diverse backgrounds but a shared passion to deliver on our mission to reduce the burden of disease — and enjoy the journey along the way.

The Opportunity at Komodo Health:

We’re seeking a contract Sales Enablement Instructional Designer with strong instructional design skills and an understanding of adult learning best practices. This individual will work closely with subject matter experts, enablement leads, and product teams to create scalable, role-based content that supports new hire onboarding, everboarding, and product training initiatives. This role will report to the Director of Enablement | Role Excellence and collaborate with the Director of Enablement | Onboarding.

Outcomes & Responsibilities

Looking back on your 3-months at Komodo Health, you will have…

  • Designed engaging, interactive eLearning experiences using Articulate Storyline and Rise to support role-specific learning journeys.
  • Supported launch readiness and everboarding by transforming source materials into professional, branded training collateral that reflects enablement objectives.
  • Partnered with enablement leads and SMEs to translate business and product knowledge into learner-friendly content.
  • Assisted in organizing and uploading content into enablement platforms (e.g., Workramp) and learning hubs.

The essential day-to-day job duties…

  • Designing and developing instructional materials for virtual and self-paced learning using adult learning principles.
  • Creating and maintaining slide decks, infographics, and other visual learning aids using Google Slides and PowerPoint.
  • Developing eLearning modules in Articulate (Storyline/Rise) and uploading to the LMS or Highspot as needed.
  • Supporting enablement sessions and virtual trainings by designing polls, activities, and engagement strategies using Slido and Workramp features.
  • Ensuring training materials follow Komodo branding, tone, and accessibility standards.
  • Managing project timelines and revisions to ensure deliverables are on time and aligned to program goals.
  • Supporting video and multimedia editing in tools like Camtasia or Vimeo (preferred, but not required).

What you bring to Komodo Health (required):

  • 3+ years of instructional design experience, preferably in a sales enablement, L&D, or GTM training function.
  • Proficiency in Articulate Storyline and Rise.
  • Experience designing for adult learners using instructional design models (e.g., ADDIE) and Kirkpatrick’s Levels of Evaluation.
  • Demonstrated experience building eLearning modules, slide decks, and instructional materials.
  • Strong communication skills and ability to work cross-functionally in a fast-paced, remote-first environment.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Familiarity with sales enablement tools and LMS platforms (e.g., Workramp, Highspot).
  • Success using AI tools (e.g., ChatGPT) to accelerate content development and instructional design productivity
  • Experience working with virtual training engagement tools like Slido.
  • Video creation/editing experience with Vimeo or Camtasia.
  • Understanding of SaaS sales motions or healthcare/pharma industry dynamics.
  • Knowledge of sales enablement methodology and principles.

The ideal candidate is…

  • A detail-oriented instructional designer who can transform source materials into polished, learner-centered assets.
  • A strong visual storyteller who understands how to translate concepts into slide decks and digital learning formats.
