We are seeking a Software Developer with expertise in Genesys Cloud Services to help design, build, and integrate the VA Voicebot platform with existing VA systems. This role will focus on developing robust, secure, and user-friendly conversational experiences while ensuring compliance with VA security and interoperability standards. The ideal candidate will bring both hands-on development skills and deep Genesys platform knowledge to deliver a seamless experience for Veterans and VA staff.
What you’ll be doing:
You will develop and enhance the VA Voicebot within the Genesys Cloud platform, creating intuitive conversation flows and integrating them with other VA systems and data sources. You will implement secure authentication processes, protect sensitive data, and ensure compliance with VA standards and federal security requirements. As a Genesys subject matter expert, you will collaborate with other developers, integration engineers, and security teams to ensure high performance, scalability, and reliability of the Voicebot solution.
What you’ll bring:
- Proven experience developing solutions within Genesys Cloud Services, with a focus on IVR, chatbots, or voicebots.
- Strong understanding of conversational design and ability to translate user needs into intuitive call flows.
- Experience integrating Genesys solutions with external APIs, CRMs, and enterprise systems.
- Knowledge of authentication mechanisms (OAuth, SSO, SAML) and secure data handling practices.
- Familiarity with VA enterprise systems, APIs, and security policies (preferred).
- Proficiency with at least one programming or scripting language (JavaScript, Python, etc.) for integration and automation tasks.
- Strong problem-solving skills and ability to troubleshoot complex voice application issues.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills for working across engineering and program teams.
Requirements:
- Must be a US Citizen and able to work domestically
- Must be able to attain low-level security clearance

Compensation:
At Wilcore, it’s important each employee is compensated competitively and fairly. In alignment with state legal requirements. A range for the included position is listed below. Be advised, actual offer details are determined by job category, job location, and candidate skill level.
United States Wage Range: $110,000 – $140,000
