Dynamo Technologies LLC is seeking a highly skilled SQL and Power Platform Developer with expertise in Azure SQL, Power BI, Power Apps, Power Automate, and SharePoint development within Agile environments. As a key member of Credence Dynamo Solutions (CDS), you are responsible for leveraging your advanced database and application development skills to design, build, and maintain secure, scalable solutions that meet the evolving operational needs of CBP Field Offices.

Your role centers on developing and optimizing SQL-based backend systems that serve as the foundation for robust Power Platform applications and workflows. You also design and implement modern Power Apps solutions and Power Automate flows, while supporting SharePoint-based collaboration tools to ensure seamless integration, data accessibility, and operational efficiency across the organization.

The SQL and Power Platform Developer is tasked with designing, developing, and maintaining enterprise solutions that prioritize Azure SQL database architecture and integrate with the Power Platform (Power Apps, Power Automate, Power BI) and SharePoint Online to meet CBP mission objectives. Working closely with stakeholders, the developer translates business requirements into secure and scalable systems, performs end-to-end testing and performance tuning, and delivers training and technical support to maximize adoption and impact. This role plays a key part in advancing digital modernization efforts, enhancing data-driven decision-making, and enabling CBP OFO’s mission success.

Duties/ Responsibilities

  • Utilize in-depth knowledge of and advanced understanding of CBP SharePoint projects to develop tailored solutions.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to understand business requirements and translate them into technical specifications for SharePoint and Power Platform solutions.
  • Gather requirements, design, and develop Power Apps applications and Power Automate flows for CBP Field Offices.
  • Design, develop, and maintain SharePoint-based Project Management Sites and document repositories.
  • Create and implement new content, including user guides and Frequently Asked Questions (FAQs), within SharePoint environments.
  • Design and implement SharePoint and Power Apps-based collaboration tools to enhance organizational productivity and collaboration.
  • Develop Power Platform solutions including canvas apps, model-driven apps, flows, and dashboards.
  • Integrate SharePoint and Power Platform solutions with other Microsoft and third-party applications using APIs and other connectors, as necessary.
  • Conduct unit testing, integration testing, and user acceptance testing for SharePoint and Power Platform solutions to ensure quality and reliability.
  • Provide training and support to end-users and administrators. Troubleshoot and timely resolve issues.

Required Skills/Abilities

  • Must be a U.S. Citizen with the ability to obtain and maintain a government public trust security investigation.
  • Bachelor’s degree in computer science, IT, or related field.
  • Proficient with SharePoint Development.
  • Proficient with Power Platform Development, especially Power BI, PowerApps and Power Automate.
  • Proficient with Azure SQL.
  • Familiarity with Agile Methodologies.
  • U.S Citizenship required.

Nice to Have Skills

  • CBP Experience.
  • Proven record of accomplishment of timely, accurate and complete work, independently managing multiple tasks with changing timelines and deliverables.
  • Excellent critical thinking, organizational, problem solving, oral and written communication skills.
  • Adaptability and willingness to take on additional tasks as needed.
  • Proven ability to communicate effectively, both oral and written, with various staff levels and teams across the agency, including technical teams.
  • Possesses and demonstrate the interpersonal and leadership skills to build relationships with key stakeholders.

Education and Experience:

  • Bachelor’s degree in computer science, IT, or related field.
  • 10 years relevant experience.
  • Relevant certification from a nationally recognized authority.

Travel Requirement :

  • Occasional, infrequent travel required for briefings and conferences, primarily Washington, DC.
