Summary
The job is for a Community Manager position at Binance, responsible for managing and growing local communities in the GCC region. The role involves implementing community-building strategies, sharing market feedback, serving as the main point of contact for the community, and managing the Binance Angels program.
Requirements
- Must have strong knowledge of crypto/blockchain space, related terminologies and trends and have a liking for the industry
- Proven experience of at least 3 years launching and managing community initiatives (e.g. building an online forum, launching an ambassador program, creating an event series, managing social media platforms)
- Deep understanding of the MENA region with a focus on GCC
- Strong knowledge of marketing channels and community platforms such as Telegram and Discord
- Be able to work flexible and stretched hours when required to address high priority escalations and needs sourced from the crypto community
- Strong communication skills, critical thinking and analytical skills to generate insights with data
- Execution oriented mindset - with the humility, drive, and scrappiness to get it done
- Must speak fluent English & Arabic
Responsibilities
- Grow and manage local online and offline Binance communities in the GCC
- Plan and implement community-building strategies via various local social channels and offline events to drive engagement and foster a sense of community among our users
- Share market feedback and user suggestions with relevant functional teams
- Serve as the main point of contact for the community while collaborating with the marketing and product teams to align all community expectations
- Manage the Binance Angels program and coordinate collaboration between Angels and the Binance team
