Requirements
- Experience: 3-5 years in a PM role or a closely related technical capacity
- Crypto Native: You are deeply embedded in on-chain culture, use dApps in your everyday life, and pay close attention to the Ethereum community – across the technical discussions and degen opportunities
- Communication Maven: Stellar written and verbal communication skills. Comfortable influencing and collaborating with individuals across the organization
- Technical & Business Acumen: Capable of diving deep into the technical details while keeping an eye on the broader business objectives
- Team Player: Flexible, dependable, and thrives in ambiguous situations. Takes ownership when needed
- Educational Background: A degree in Computer Science or an Engineering field. Alternatively, hands-on experience in building software products, be it through personal projects or professional ventures
- Industry Experience: A history of shipping production-grade software, especially targeted at a developer audience. Familiarity with software development processes is crucial
- Prior experience at a fast-growing tech company or a software startup is a big plus
- Working at a protocol team in the blockchain industry is a plus
- Working on distributed systems as a technical contributor is a plus
Responsibilities
- Build out and deliver against a governance-focused roadmap — improving the flexibility and security of the standard on-chain & off-chain mechanisms that Arbitrum chains can utilize, and advocating for structural changes across the ecosystem
- Develop and manage a modular governance system that Arbitrum chains can adopt generally, ensuring that all chains can efficiently upgrade/change their protocol, across a variety of ownership structures
- Drive improvements to user-facing products like the Arbitrum Bridge and Portal, increasing the value they provide to users and projects across the Ethereum ecosystem
- Proactively identify requirements at a technical and non-technical level to ensure product success — from docs, to ecosystem infrastructure, to granular front-end details
- Work closely with our engineering teams, helping to synthesize feedback from projects and users, overall changes in the market landscape, and underlying technical considerations to prioritize development work
- Work with our marketing and partnerships teams to build and deliver successful narratives and messaging for new product launches and protocol changes
- Integrate across the company, ensuring that our engineering, design, marketing, partnerships, and other teams are tightly aligned
