Your Purpose We are seeking an organized and detail-oriented Legal Assistant to join our Brazil Legal team. This role is primarily responsible for the timely and accurate processing of requests for customer data (registration and transactional information) received from competent authorities, alongside with other administrative matters. The ideal candidate will thrive in a fast-paced environment and ensure full compliance with legal procedures and deadlines related to personal data and banking secrecy requests.

Who You Are
- Proven English fluency (both written and verbal).
- Bachelor’s degree in course or recently graduated, preferably enrolled in a Law degree program.
- Organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to handle highly confidential and sensitive information with discretion.
- Strong time management skills and ability to prioritize tasks under strict deadlines.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite or Google Suite (Word/Docs, Excel/Sheets).
Nice to have
Previous experience working in a financial institution or payment institution is a significant plus.
Knowledge about Brazil Central Bank regulations and Brazilian GDPR are a significant plus.
Proven Spanish fluency.
What You Will Do
- Information Request Management: Handle the end-to-end processing of official data requests from judicial and police authorities.
- System Processing: Manage and monitor requests arriving via specialized systems like SIMBA, BC Correio and STA, as well as official email channels.
- Coordination and Documentation: Organize, track, and archive all incoming requests and outgoing responses, ensuring strict confidentiality and proper filing.
- Compliance: Ensure responses strictly adhere to relevant legislation, internal policies, and regulatory timelines.
- Administrative Support: Provide general administrative and organizational support to the Legal Department as needed.
