ROLE DESCRIPTION
This role will serve as a bridge between scientific rigor and marketing impact within the organization, supporting the communication of scientific and medical information and ensuring the accuracy and relevance of externally facing content. This role will report to the Senior Director of Nutrition Science and Research with a dotted line to the Senior Director of Product Safety.
Reports To: Sr Director, Nutrition Science and Research
Location: New York City or Remote
Start Date: Immediately
ROLES & RESPONSIBILITIES
- Develop and validate scientific claims—including reviewing literature, interpreting study findings, and preparing claim dossiers.
- Manage database of active claims, including regular auditing of communications and identification of evidence gaps.
- Review and validate scientific and nutritional content for advertising materials in collaboration with commercial, regulatory, and legal teams.
- Providing nutrition and scientific consultancy and support to marketing and commercial teams to optimize product communication.
- Conducting competitor analysis.
- Support Product Safety and Parent Experience teams including indirect and direct customer communication.
Skills & Qualifications
- Advanced degree in Nutrition or related science or licensed healthcare professional (e.g., MD, DO, NP, RN)
- Strong understanding of regulatory and scientific communication; previous exposure to regulations related to post-approval marketing to customers
- Proven expertise translating complex data into compelling, compliant messaging.
- Capable of navigating cross-functional collaborations and independently driving projects
- Personable, reliable, highly organized, and conscientious.
- Comfortable to work within a fast-paced, highly dynamic environment
The minimum annual salary for this position is $110,000 and the maximum is $125,000. The salary range for performing this role outside of New York City will differ. Additionally, you will be eligible to participate in our company’s equity program, plus our robust medical, dental, vision, retirement, and other benefits.
