About Kustomer

We provide an AI-powered customer service CRM platform that brings together all customer data, conversations, and AI workflows into one workspace. Our goal is to help brands deliver fast, smart, and personal service to their customers, which helps with retention and growth.

Our platform offers omnichannel support, smart routing, and AI assistants for agents. We also have AI agents that can resolve customer questions directly. For tracking performance, we provide AI-driven reports through Data Explorer. Our platform can automate customer issues across all channels, assist agents with AI and omnichannel tools, and can be customized to fit specific needs.

Kustomer was founded in 2015 by Brad Birnbaum and Jeremy Suriel. Facebook (Meta) acquired us in 2020, and we spun out in 2023.

Team & Culture

We have between 201 and 500 employees. Our culture encourages everyone to be themselves and do their best work. We learn and grow every day through collaboration, and we believe in having fun and working together as one team.

We are a remote-friendly company with a focus on getting things done. We encourage ownership and continuous learning. Our engineering teams are set up in cross-functional initiatives, where engineers work with product managers, designers, test engineers, and technical writers to take ownership of different parts of the product, much like a startup.

We host in-person retreats twice a year, along with remote happy hours, quarterly culture awards, anniversary recognition, and trivia nights.

In the U.S., we pay 100% of premiums for medical, dental, and vision coverage through Cigna and Guardian, whether you enroll as an individual or family. Our benefits also include a Roth or Traditional 401k retirement plan with Fidelity and a flexible time off policy. We offer 16 weeks of paid parental leave for birthing parents (after 6 months tenure) and 8 weeks for non-birthing parents (before 6 months tenure). Fertility coverage is included in our insurance plans.

New hires receive an allowance to set up their workspace, plus monthly reimbursements for cell phone and internet. In the UK, employees get a pension and supplemental health insurance. We offer competitive salaries, stock options, and referral bonuses to all employees.
