How you will make an impact?
M.POS Air is the new Metro’s checkout core solution which is user-friendly, secure, innovative, mobile and always available. It has to compute the amount to pay, tailored for every type of customer, in a smooth and accurate manner, to provide a performant invoicing and payment solution and also user management functionalities, keeping continuously in mind to enable the best user experience. Job Description
Your Responsibilities:
- Being involved in all phases of software engineering, from inception to coding, testing, delivery and operation;
- Developing high quality code that follows best practices and clean code principles;
- Advocate for improvements to product quality, security and performance;
- Collaborating with other engineers or team members on various layers of the infrastructure, in order to design and launch new features;
- Interacting with the client in order to understand and characterize their needs and advise them if necessary.
Qualifications
Required key competencies and qualifications:
- Proven experience with C#, .NET Core, Visual Studio, PostgreSQL, Rest API, Docker, Kubernetes, Entity Framework;knowledge of async messaging/queues is a plus;
- Proven experience with JavaScript on frontend side web & mobile (React.JS, React Native, TypeScript, Redux);
- Knowledge of microservices architecture;
- Unit testing fan (Jest);
- Proven knowledge of relational databases (Oracle, PostgreSQL);
- Knowledge of CI/CD pipelines;
- Working experience with version control (GIT);
- You should be a team player with a knack for visual design and utility, keen on adding customer value into a modern system meant to be used worldwide by METRO suppliers;
- Very good fluency in English (written and verbal).
