The Team
The Growth Executive is part of the Commercial Growth - Adjacent Revenue Department. The Growth Executive
will need to work closely with others in this department, as well as in Product, Strategy, Technology and Sales teams to drive growth outcomes for SEEK.
The Role
The Growth Executive is responsible for validating customer interest and testing willingness to pay for future
opportunities that we believe will drive value for our customers and SEEK. Through outbound customer engagement the Growth Executive communicates with existing SEEK customers and candidates to collect feedback and position the value of new solutions, with the aim of proving desirability, feasibility and viability of our new offerings.
Your role involves collaborating with project leaders on initiatives spanning discovery, experimentation, and feedback stages. Gathering customer insights is crucial for the Adjacent Revenue Team’s key learnings to validate future opportunities across Asia Pacific.
Job Description
Discovery and Design
– Collaborate in a cross-functional team, to brainstorm, gather necessary information and insights to contribute to the design and planning of an initiative.
– Conduct comprehensive market research to identify trends, opportunities, and challenges related to new business ideas.
– Use both qualitative and quantitative research methods, including surveys, interviews, database research, and competitive analysis.
– Partner with project leaders to develop experiments to test key assumptions
– Collaborate with the project leaders to design call scripts and define key metrics for experiments aimed at testing product desirability and willingness to pay among potential customers.
Campaign Execution
– Execute call campaigns, rigorously following the experiment design to ensure consistency and reliability of the data collected.
– Conduct structured calls with a diverse set of customers and potential customers to gather insights on their needs, preferences, willingness to pay, and reactions to proposed solutions or product.
– Utilise effective communication skills and sales tactics to engage customers, explain the purpose of the call clearly, the value proposition of the product and encourage conversion to a sale.
– Provide insightful feedback to the team based on customer interactions, suggesting adjustments to offerings or highlighting features that resonate well with the target market.
– Participate in the iterative process of refining product propositions based on direct customer feedback and experiment outcomes.
– Adjust call approaches and scripts as necessary to better align with different customer segments, enhancing the quality of feedback received.
Analysis and Reporting:
– Assist in the creation of detailed reports and presentations that summarise research findings, including implications and actionable recommendations.
– Analyse qualitative data from calls to identify patterns, preferences, and key customer insights
Qualifications
- Previous experience in Outbound Phone Sales, Customer Success or Customer Service, with a natural curiosity and interest in connecting with customers.
- Demonstrated ability to be flexible and adapt quickly in a constantly changing environment, using feedback to improve performance and optimise processes
- Strategic thinker with a natural interest in problem solving
- Customer-centric mindset, always striving to create value for the customer
- Strong team player and collaborator, takes initiative and is proactive
- Strong written and verbal communications skills with demonstrated experience in influencing and overcoming objections
- Proven history using technology as part of your daily workflow and able to switch between systems/tools/products with ease
- Prior experience working with or in Talent Acquisition/Recruitment or the broader employment industry highly regarded but not essential
