Infrastructure Programme Manager – 12-Month Contract - Remote with travel required as and when needed (not extensive)
Telefónica Tech is seeking an experienced Infrastructure Programme Manager to deliver a major portfolio of infrastructure and technology transformation programmes over a 12-month contract. You’ll lead large, multi-stream initiatives that modernise our tech environment and drive real organisational change.
What you’ll do
Programme Oversight: Manage a diverse portfolio of complex infrastructure projects, which will include, but not be limited to: Cloud Transformation/Migration initiatives, Legacy Infrastructure Decommissioning, Domain Consolidation and Infrastructure Modernization, Identity and Privileged access management
Lead end-to-end delivery of complex infrastructure programmes across cloud migration, infrastructure modernisation, legacy decommissioning, domain consolidation, and identity/privileged access management.
Define programme strategy, scope, governance, and benefits realisation plans.
Manage programme budgets, financial forecasting, risks, dependencies, and reporting.
Provide leadership and direction to Project Managers, ensuring quality and delivery milestones are met.
Partner with Architecture, Security, Operations, and external suppliers to ensure seamless delivery.
Communicate effectively with senior stakeholders, providing clear and timely updates.
Qualifications
What you’ll bring
Significant experience delivering multi-stream infrastructure or technology programmes.
Strong track record in cloud transformation, migration, or major infrastructure modernisation.
Expertise in programme governance, PMO processes, risk management, and financial control.
Proven leadership of cross-functional teams and Project Managers.
Excellent communication and influencing skills at executive level.
MSP / PMP / Agile knowledge or certifications highly desirable.
