Job description

Sauce is a premier restaurant technology platform that helps businesses grow with our Commission-Free Delivery & Pickup structure and proprietary delivery optimization technology. We are serving a 105 billion dollar US local restaurant business. Headquartered in NYC and Tel-Aviv, Sauce wants restaurants to fulfill their highest potential, this means giving local establishments everything they need to connect directly with their customers. The Sauce team pools together decades of restaurant tech experience, along with seasoned tech, sales, marketing, product and operations executives who produce an industry-changing delivery system for successful local restaurants and chains.

We’re looking for an engineer who can blend low‑code/no‑code speed with production‑grade AI and automation savvy. You’ll prototype fast, launch faster, and own the long‑term reliability of workflows and AI agents that power both customer‑facing features and internal ops.

You will be at the forefront of our rapid innovation efforts. You will master low-code/no-code platforms(Zapier, N8N etc.), alongside rapid prototyping tools (Lovable, Bolt, Adalo, etc.) to quickly develop functional prototypes that integrate with our existing .NET microservices and build efficient, automated workflows that enhance team productivity. Your focus will be on speed, agility, and creating a positive “vibe” of rapid progress and seamless operations.

We’re seeking a dynamic and experienced engineer passionate about “vibe coding” and leveraging low-code solutions to drive both rapid prototyping and workflow automation. You will bridge the gap between our existing .NET infrastructure and agile experimentation, to create impactful proof-of-concepts and optimize internal processes.

What You’ll Do:

  • Vibe coding leader - embrace and promote a “vibe coding” approach, prioritizing rapid iteration and experimentation, and delivering tangible value quickly.
  • Prototype creation - design, develop, and deploy functional prototypes using low-code/no-code platforms to quickly demonstrate new product features and concepts
  • Workflow automation - design, build, and manage automated workflows using platforms like Zapier, N8N, and Maker to streamline internal processes and improve efficiency
  • Platform integration - build and configure seamless integrations between low-code prototyping tools, workflow automation platforms, and our .NET based microservices ecosystem.
  • Technology scouting - Scout and evaluate emerging AI or low‑code platforms; run proof‑of‑concepts and present build‑vs‑buy recommendations.
  • Team collaboration - work closely with product managers, developers, and designers to translate ideas into tangible prototypes.
  • API integrations - build and configure API integrations between low-code platforms and our .NET based microservices ecosystem
  • Feedback iterations - demonstrate and present prototypes and automated workflows to stakeholders and customers for feedback, and iterate rapidly based on insights
  • Development optimization - balance speed of development and automation with considerations for data integrity, security, and maintainability
  • Team empowerment - train and mentor team members on low-code/no-code approaches
  • Documentation - Create clear and concise documentation for prototypes, automated workflows, and development processes

What You Bring:

  • 3+ years building applications or workflows on low‑code/no‑code platforms and/or AI orchestration frameworks.
  • Proven track record taking at least one low‑code or AI automation into production and keeping it running—including monitoring, debugging, and version upgrades in a real company (not freelance trials or demo‑only consulting).
  • Hands‑on ownership of end‑to‑end lifecycle: design → build → deploy → operate at scale (security, observability, rollbacks).
  • Solid grasp of REST/GraphQL APIs, OAuth, webhooks and event‑driven design.
  • Comfortable with at least one GenAI stack (OpenAI, Azure, Anthropic, open‑source LLMs) and prompt‑engineering best practices.
  • Familiarity with .NET, micro‑services, and cloud (Azure preferred).
  • Excellent problem‑solving skills; ability to move from napkin sketch to deployed solution in days, not weeks.
  • Clear communicator able to translate tech jargon into business value.
  • Demonstrated portfolio of rapid prototypes / workflow automations built using low-code / no-code approaches
  • Strong understanding of API paradigms and integrations
  • Ability to quickly learn and adapt to new technologies
  • A passion for vibe coding and iterative development
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills
  • Good understanding of UI/UX principles
  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects simultaneously
  • Excellent problem-solving and ability to work around platform limitations
  • Experience with data visualization tools
  • Excellent communication skills to explain technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders

What We Offer:

  • Highly exciting project with modern microservice and serverless architectures and active customers
  • Ability to learn from experts in software development and architecture
  • Friendly environment where you can reach your full potential and grow your career
  • Challenging tasks to help you evolve as a professional
  • Open mindedness for innovations and self growth
  • Work directly for our company without an outsourcing company in the middle
  • Flexible work schedules
  • Work from home for better life/work balance
  • Strong Time Off Policy
  • Strong Compensation Package
