We are seeking a Business Development Coordinator to create compelling, high-quality proposals that drive client win rates. This role requires collaboration across departments to deliver comprehensive proposals within tight deadlines, including executive summaries, study specific details, and operational capabilities.
This role can be fully remote in the US, although a candidate within commutable distance to our Lincoln, NE site would be preferred.
As a Business Development Coordinator, you will support the sales team, seek bid-specific information from operations, and pull all the pieces together for a unified bespoke document that helps Celerion win new business.
Key Responsibilities
- Partner with Business Development Directors and the Corporate Support Team to create professional proposals that meet client requirements
- Write client-specific proposal content and participate in client calls and proposal defense meetings
- Participate in discussions directly with clients to discuss timelines, questions, expectations, and deliverables, including calls related to RFPs, budget discussions, and RFIs
- Create client-specific proposal text that accurately reflects strategy discussions and meets company and client needs/expectations
- Maintain and update the proposal library and database with current templates and content
- Coordinate with internal teams including Contracts, Finance, and Operations for comprehensive proposals
- Update Salesforce database and maintain accurate client contact information
- Track proposal metrics and implement process improvements
- Support the business development team during high-workload periods, including presentation creation, proposal management initiatives, and bid defense preparation and meetings
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Life Sciences, STEM, Business, or equivalent experience
- Exceptional written and verbal communication skills; comfortable reaching out to all levels of the organization to seek information
- Experience preparing technical documentation and presentations
- Knowledge of the Pharmaceutical/Life Sciences industry is helpful
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite
- Experience in fast-paced, international team environments
- Strong project management and organizational abilities
- Client-focused, strong attention to detail, collaborative team player who works well under tight timelines
- Ability to work with all US time zones and provide support to our European sales team as well
- Preference for candidates local to Lincoln, NE for training and occasional on-site collaboration
