Summary

Contec is hiring a home-based data entry typist to join their team. The candidate will be responsible for transcribing information accurately and in a timely manner using stipulated software. They should have excellent written communication skills, organizational abilities, attention to detail, and the ability to work independently. A high school diploma or equivalent and proficiency in Microsoft Office are required. Previous experience in a similar role is advantageous.

Responsibilities

  • Typing memorandums, reports, and other documents using stipulated word processing software
  • Preparing work in accordance with prescribed formatting guidelines
  • Proofreading assignments and amending mistakes before submission
  • Submitting completed work via mail or post
  • Filing and storing copies of your completed assignments
  • Maintaining a record of completed tasks and logging hours worked
