Job Summary
As a DevOps Engineer, you will make a significant contribution to infrastructure automation, continuous delivery, observability, and security by collaborating closely with cross-functional teams. The DevOps engineer evaluates emerging technologies, promotes process improvements, and shapes standards and best practices while providing expert guidance to project teams across the organization. This role plays a fundamental role in driving the adoption of cloud platform capabilities in collaboration with software engineering, architecture, and information security teams.
Essential Skills
Experience in a DevOps role, with hands-on Cloud experience.
Proficiency in scripting languages (Bash, Shell, or Python).
CI/CD Pipelines & Automation – Experience setting up Jenkins, GitHub Actions, or similar tools for automated deployments.
Networking & Security – Familiarity with DNS, load balancing, IAM, firewall rules, VPNs, and cloud security best practices.
Monitoring & Observability – Experience using Datadog, CloudWatch, Prometheus, ELK Stack, or similar tools for system monitoring and alerting.
Scripting & Automation – Proficiency in Python.
Experience with containerization tools (Docker, Kubernetes).
Agile & DevOps Mindset – Experience working in Agile teams, advocating for DevOps best practices, and continuously improving infrastructure.
Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
Highly Desirable Skills
Familiarity with AWS, GPC and Azure and On-premise deployments;
Experience with Kubernetes packet managers (e.g. Helm, Kubectl);
Experience with configuration management tools.
