Job description
Time period: ASAP start; end date 6/15/25.
Hours EST: 4⁄14-5⁄30 8:00am-4:30pm – must be available via Teams and Outlook during this time. May have extended hours, including nights and weekends.
5⁄31-6⁄15 – on-site for go-live support. Up to 12-hour shifts – may be days, nights and weekends.
Epic certifications required: IP Clinical Documentation, Clinical Case Management (we will be using CarePort)
Other Epic proficiency/experience preferred: Stork, IP Rehab, Device Integration, Rover, Unified Communications, IP Respiratory workflows
Must have recent experience in several full cycle Epic project work including testing and go-live support.
Key Responsibilities:
Collaborate with clinical stakeholders and IT teams to design, configure, and optimize Epic Clin Doc functionality.
Analyze clinical documentation workflows and translate business needs into Epic build specifications.
Build, test, and maintain clinical documentation tools, including SmartForms, flowsheets, SmartTexts, and SmartLinks.
Troubleshoot issues and provide day-to-day support for Clin Doc users across departments.
Participate in upgrades, patch testing, and ongoing system enhancements.
Conduct application testing, validation, and documentation in accordance with change control processes.
Provide training and support to end-users, super users, and other analysts as needed.
Assist in data analysis, reporting, and monitoring documentation compliance and utilization.
Ensure adherence to privacy, security, and compliance standards within the Epic environment.
