Do you love helping small business owners get control of their numbers and build profitable systems?

We’re looking for an experienced Fractional Controller to support up to 45 solo law firm owners already enrolled in our business growth program. You’ll join a team of Fractional CEOs, COOs, and CFOs, providing the financial structure, education, and accountability our clients need to thrive.

🔍 What You’ll Do

As a Fractional Controller, you’ll:

• Lead monthly 1:1 financial coaching calls with your assigned law firm clients.
• Conduct deep-dive reviews of financial reports, helping clients master the 7 key financial statements.
• Teach clients how to use those reports to drive decisions and profitability.
• Prepare short-term cash flow forecasts to spot cash crunches before they hit.
• Hold clients accountable for their goals—and coach them through resistance.
• Host group Q&A calls, answer client questions, and contribute to team-wide knowledge sharing.
• Track client progress, document insights, and collaborate with your team.

We’re looking for a very specific type of partner—someone who thrives in the fast-paced, often messy, but deeply rewarding world of small business. If the following statements don’t describe you, this role is not the right fit:

You have Prior experience as a Controller or in a Senior accounting/finance role (small biz or Entreprenurial setting preferred)

You have experience tracking and analyzing key business metrics?

You have created dashboards to visualize data and support decision-making?

You are able to share quantifiable results you’ve achieved, such as:

• Increased cash liquidity?
• Decreased operating expenses?
• Saved the company money or improved profitability?

You have demonstrated progressive growth in your roles over time?

You have managed people, teams, or client relationships?

You have handled cross-functional responsibilities beyond accounting, such as:

• HR processes?
• Legal liaison duties?
• Operations support?

You have experience working in or supporting a family business, your spouse’s business, or running your own entrepreneurial venture?

You have ever served on an advisory board or similar strategic committee?

You have experience in roles where you were managing people?

You have Experience in accounting or finance functions in an entrepreneurial or start-up, small business setting. Any experience within a law firm or professional services company is a plus.
