Job Description
Are you passionate about materials science and ensuring compliance in the automotive industry? We are looking for a skilled International Material Data System (IMDS) Quality Engineer to evaluate supplier entries as a part of Production Part Approval Process . You will work with advanced IT systems like iPoint Compliance Agent and SAP, playing a crucial role in maintaining compliance with international standards and regulations.

∙ Evaluate and prepare material data sheets using the iPOINT and IMDS systems.
∙ Ensure compliance with international material composition standards.
∙ Consider restrictions of substances in an automotive industries based on GADSL.
∙ Support suppliers in data entry processes.
∙ Monitor and implement regulatory changes and compliance requirements.
∙ Collaborate with various KOSTAL departments to streamline quality processes.
∙ Leverage and improve your expertise in IT systems, such as iPoint Compliance Agent, SAP and CIM Database.
Qualifications
What we’re looking for:
∙ A strong background in Materials Science, Chemistry, or Physics.
∙ At least two years of industry/laboratory’s experience, advantage would be experience in the field of quality, IMDS and compliance.
∙ Fluent in English, strong communication and analytical skills.
∙ Focus on detail
∙ Enthusiasm for collaboration and innovation.
