About the role
We’re looking for a Marketing Manager to join the EEA team at Coalition to lead field marketing, content and campaigns in continental Europe. As a member of the team, you’ll work cross-functionally with the marketing, growth, sales, and product teams to drive operational marketing excellence, with a focus on the launch and expansion of our cyber insurance products across our new European new markets (France, Germany, Denmark, Sweden).
The ideal candidate thrives in a fast-paced start-up environment, has a strong technical acumen (on topics such as commercial insurance, cyber security, technological risks), as well as a creative mindset and digital communication skills to drive the company’s visibility in new markets.
Responsibilities
- Lead the implementation of marketing campaigns and programs through driving the coordination of the various marketing functions, and the Business Development teams in continental Europe.
- Organize the official launch campaign of individual new country rollouts (Germany, France, Denmark, Sweden)
- Design the creation of targeted digital communication campaigns to reach key business segments and create product visibility
- Identify industry or business event opportunities in relevant countries, and coordinate with the BD and Product teams to ensure presence and brand exposure.
- Drive marketing enablement across the EEA teams, through the creation, management, and optimization of marketing-related processes through use of project management tools and documentation.
- Monitor and maintain data quality within marketing systems of record (Salesforce, Marketo, and others).Direct existing marketing technology stack, evaluate new technologies to assist Coalition’s go-to-market strategy, and act as a key point of contact for regional guidance of marketing tools and technology.
- Enhance and operationalize marketing processes related to the broker’s journey – from acquisition through retention – for Coalition’s products and services.
- Track and analyze regional marketing data points, closely collaborating with the data science team to create and strengthen measures for success.
Skills and Qualifications
- 5+ years of work experience in a marketing operations function, digital marketing experience is highly desired.
- Prior marketing and/or communications experience with financial products is highly desired. Experience with insurance products is preferred
- Solid knowledge and experience with target EU / EEA countries
- Advanced language skills in French and English, both written and spoken.
- Excellent project management and communication experience
- A dynamic, creative and process-driven mindset
- Intrigued by the intersection of people, process, and technology
- A University degree is required (Bachelor or Master degree).
The role is fully remote but must be based in France or Germany (countrywide location accepted)
Bonus Skills
- Prior experience in Commercial Insurance, ideally Cyber & Tech insurance, or Financial Lines
- Knowledge of regulations on the marketing & communication of financial services in the EU is a strong plus
- Prior experience working with Salesforce and Marketo
- Additional language skills in German, Danish or Swedish are a plus
