Location: Gurgaon, India (Remote)
About the role:
Google for Education is a portfolio of solutions designed to empower learning anytime, anywhere – whether in the classroom, at home, or within a hybrid model. It includes simple yet powerful devices like Chromebooks, productivity tools like G Suite for Education with Classroom, and rich educational content in the Chromebook App Hub. Each solution has been designed to be easy to use, flexible and scalable, built for collaboration, and secure by design. Together these tools help teachers inspire curiosity, while students are empowered to achieve their learning goals, wherever they are.
As a marketing manager, you will be responsible to create awareness and drive adoption of Google for Education tools in India.
What you will be doing:
Marketing:
Create awareness, product understanding and drive demand generation through focused campaigns (online and offline) with public and private sector educators, school leaders and decision markers. Lead performance campaigns with OEM, Resellers and Distribution partners. Independently run market research and identify actionable user insights. Deliver impact narratives by developing success stories, localized assets, impact reports and managing events.
Partnerships and Project Management:
Identify, prioritize and work with a varied set of partners including governments, educational institutions to enable awareness and capabilities. Develop strategy, create content, review performance and enable end to end implementation. Measure impact and share overview with internal and external stakeholders.
What you need to be great in this role:
Minimum qualifications
- MBA degree and 6+ years of experience in brand marketing, partner marketing and project management
- Experience managing projects through the complete life cycle with attention to detail
- Ability to source and create strong impact stories from users
- Excellent event management capabilities
- Outstanding written and oral communication skills
- Excellent problem-solving, analytical skills and impeccable business judgment independently
Preferred qualifications
- Experience of working in the education/development sector
- Experience with ongoing partner relationship management; ability to serve as an advocate for accounts internally and work collaboratively to identify opportunities or resolve issues
- Strong negotiator with a partnership approach; ability to represent Google in agreement discussions and structure terms to achieve strong ongoing partner alignment
- Ability to interpret legal documents and work with attorneys on specific contract language
- Ability to localize creative assets
- Demonstrated analytical success. Demonstrated capacity for developing and understanding strategy
- Passion for and inquisitive about AI and new technologies
- Understanding and knowledge of AI tools is beneficial, but ability to learn and digest benefits and features of AI tools is critical.
