Schedule: Monday to Friday, 3:00 AM – 12:00 PM EST

Time Off:

The Role

We’re hiring a hands-on, detail-obsessed Operations Manager to help scale our operational systems, streamline vendor and client interactions, and own logistics across our growing global supply chain.

You’ll be stepping into a critical role—replacing a departing team member—and will be expected to bring energy, structure, and smart thinking from day one. The ideal candidate is startup-tested, highly organized, tech-savvy, and thrives wearing multiple hats.

💡 Please Note: This role is not suited for candidates with only BPO or call center backgrounds. We’re looking for someone who has worked directly inside a startup, understands cross-functional chaos, and is excited to build and scale.

Key Responsibilities

Operations & Process Improvement

  • Evaluate and enhance internal workflows (SOPs, SLAs, logistics coordination)
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and fix inefficiencies
  • Own end-to-end delivery of operational projects and client fulfillment

Client & Vendor Management

  • Act as the go-to for client communications on operational issues
  • Coordinate with international vendors and inspection teams to resolve issues and hit deadlines
  • Oversee contracts, vendor relationships, and performance metrics

Tools & Tech

  • Use tools like ClickUp, Hubspot, and Excel (macros a plus) to manage tasks and automate workflows
  • Report bugs, help streamline tooling, and contribute to product improvement efforts

Admin & Team Support

  • Keep detailed records of project statuses, SOPs, and vendor/client interactions
  • Assist leadership with operational planning, data analysis, and special projects
  • Contribute to team reporting on KPIs like NPS, SLAs, and task completion

Success Metrics

  • Fast, clear, and reliable communication (<12-hour response time including weekends)
  • High satisfaction from clients and vendors (via NPS or feedback)
  • Operational systems and SOPs that scale with the company
  • Initiative in reporting and resolving bottlenecks before they become problems

What We’re Looking For

Minimum Requirements

  • 2+ years of experience in operations, logistics, or project management
  • Direct experience in a startup environment is required
  • Strong Excel/Google Sheets skills (macros are a bonus)
  • Familiarity with ClickUp, Hubspot, Monday.com, or similar tools
  • Excellent communication, organization, and problem-solving abilities

Preferred

  • Experience working in e-commerce, D2C brands, or supply chain management

  • Comfortable juggling diverse projects with minimal hand-holding

  • Bonus points for coding skills, technical aptitude, or automation experience

  • Chinese language skills or multicultural work experience a plus

  • Candidates from BPO or heavily scripted environments are not preferred—we’re looking for autonomous thinkers
