JOB SUMMARY

The Parasocial Creator Marketing Director will help devise and execute large-scale creator marketing campaigns via ACE’s Creator Collective. A key focus of this role will be in the conception and implementation of timely and innovative creator marketing campaigns in new and emerging parasocial media channels, with a special focus on streaming platforms (e.g. Twitch) and podcasts, testing new “always on” strategies informed by research and data. In addition, this position will lead the refinement and innovation of the internal and external processes that fuel our creator marketing campaigns to achieve scale, improve productivity and efficacy.
This is a full-time position based remotely anywhere in the US. The Parasocial Creator Marketing Director will work from home, meet weekly by video chat with teams and have weekly national full staff meetings with colleagues online.
Key Responsibilities:
- Drive the creation and execution of innovative streaming and long-form creator partnerships on relevant platforms that serve and amplify ACE’s mission and goals.
- Explore, develop, and test new campaign ideas, frameworks, and platforms/channels (e.g. Twitch, podcasting) that address our existing audience gap by helping us resonate with a different audience that cannot be reached on our existing channels.
- Build up a program of subject matter experts and get them placed onto podcasts and streaming platforms to talk about ACE campaign topics.
- Implement scalable processes for experimenting with content formats, platform activations, and compensation structures.
- Identify and leverage emerging trends in creator marketing to drive relevance/impact.
- Optimize creator sourcing and outreach strategies to best identify and recruit creators.
- Manage a large number of creators throughout every phase of content creation.
- Establish best practices for onboarding, activating, and nurturing long-term creator relationships.
- Develop brand/channel guidelines that highlight communication best practices for both different audiences and different social media platforms.
- Foster a community of large creators (high follower count, good engagement rate) in order to give ACE the best shot of working on multiple campaigns with these creators; similarly, foster relationships with the creator’s talent managers and agencies to expedite the opt-in process and potentially expand our roster even further.
- Coordinate with our ads team to boost and repurpose creator content for digital ads.
- Negotiate usage rights on Creator-produced content for ads.
- Manage creator marketing and communications vendors when applicable.
- Work with internal/external research teams on RCTs around the Creator Collective program.
- Work closely with the campaign team to ensure that influencer campaigns are compliant with platform, federal, state and local policies.
- Lead brainstorming sessions to consistently bring fresh, high-impact ideas to the table.
- Participate in funder pitch calls and campaign meetings, both internally and externally.
- Collaborate with internal teams to integrate creator partnerships into broader organizational goals and initiatives.
- Manage our SMS opt-in pathways, keywords and tracking links/processes to measure the success of creator content.
- Use analytics and internal Google Looker dashboards for reporting and analyzing innovation-focused creator work.
