Ce que nous recherchons

Gearbox Software est à la recherche d’un·e programmeur·euse d’outils à temps plein pour se joindre à notre équipe de développement de jeux. En tant que membre de l’équipe outils, vous développerez des solutions qui seront utilisées non seulement pour un projet spécifique, mais qui seront partagées entre plusieurs jeux en développement.

Responsabilités

  • Développer des solutions visant à améliorer le flux de travail des artistes et des concepteurs, en mettant l’accent sur les technologies de monde ouvert, la génération procédurale de contenu et l’automatisation
  • Améliorer et maintenir les systèmes d’outils utilisés par tous les projets.
  • Collaborer avec les membres des différentes équipes de production pour recueillir, interpréter et discuter les exigences techniques et de conception
  • Fournir du soutien aux utilisateurs pour identifier et résoudre les problèmes liés aux outils ou aux processus de production

Qualifications

  • Diplôme en informatique et plus de 2 ans d’expérience en développement logiciel professionnel
  • Excellente maîtrise du langage C++
  • Bonne maîtrise du langage C#
  • Capacité à concevoir des logiciels flexibles, extensibles et performants
  • Excellente compétence en débogage
  • Excellentes compétences en conception UI/UX
  • Solides aptitudes pour la résolution créative de problèmes
  • Excellente communication écrite et verbale.

Atouts

  • Expérience avec Unreal Engine 5.x
  • Expérience dans la création et la maintenance de systèmes d’outils
  • Aisance à travailler dans de vastes bases de code.

What we are looking for

Gearbox Software is looking for a full-time Tools Programmer to join our game development team.  As a member of the Tools Team, you will implement solutions not only for one game, but that will be shared across multiple game projects.

Responsibilities

  • Implement solution to improve the workflow of artists and designers, with a focus on open world technology, procedural content generation and automation
  • Enhance and maintain tools systems used by all projects
  • Interact with project team members to gather, interpret, and discuss design requirements
  • Assist users in identifying and resolving tool and/or workflow issues

Qualifications

  • Computer Science degree and 3+ years experience in professional software development
  • Advanced C++ skills
  • Proficient C# skills
  • Ability to design flexible, extensible, and performant software
  • Excellent debugging skills
  • Excellent UI/UX design skills
  • Excellent creative problem solving abilities
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills

Nice to have

  • Experience with Unreal Engine 5.x
  • Background in creating and maintaining tools systems
  • Experience working in large codebases.
