Requirements

  • Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in project controls or scheduling
  • Proficient in scheduling software (e.g., Primavera P6, Microsoft Project)
  • Solid understanding of project management principles and practices
  • Knowledge of cost control, change management, and earned value concepts
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Effective communication skills, both verbal and written
  • Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills
  • Able to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment
  • Bachelor's degree in civil engineering, construction management or related field required

Responsibilities

  • Develop, update, and manage project schedules using industry-standard scheduling software (e.g., Primavera P6, Microsoft Project)
  • Collaborate with project managers, engineers, and stakeholders to baseline and monitor progress against project schedules
  • Conduct schedule risk assessments and monitor critical paths
  • Prepare and distribute schedule reports to project teams and stakeholders
  • Assist in identifying and mitigating scheduling risks or delays
  • Support project controls functions, including cost control and change management
  • Maintain accurate information regarding project timelines, milestones, and activities
  • Monitor and report on project progress, highlighting discrepancies between planned and actual timelines
