We are currently recruiting for a Project Manager on a full time, permanent basis, reporting into the Functional Lead.
The Technology Project Manager role will lead, plan, and execute projects within the supply chain functional area. Recipient of requirements and solutions from the business stakeholders which they plan and execute the delivery of the projects within the required timeline and budget.
This role is offering a home-based contract that will require travel commitment as required and as such a good degree of self-motivation and flexibility is required. The role works across Europe supporting Sysco businesses in GB, Ireland, France and Sweden. The successful candidate will be predominantly working on transformation projects in GB.
Key Accountabilities & Responsibilities:
- Lead, plan and manage the delivery of the requirements provided by our business colleagues
- Ensure the delivery scope is maintained
- Define & manage an effective communications plan
- Ensure project delivery meets governance standards (Technology and PMO)
- Formulate and control project budgets
- Manage resources & project timelines
- Successfully implement the change into BAU business operations and Technology Service
- Manage & escalate Risks, Issues, Dependencies & Resource constraints
- Manage project stakeholders effectively
About you:
As a Project Manager you will have end to end IT Project Management experience in the delivery of complex technical projects in a fast paced/time critical environment and experience of managing large budgets (£1m+). To be successful in this role you will have change management experience, coupled with experience of deploying technologies across multiple sites and projects using Agile and Waterfall methodologies. You will also have a detailed understanding of business processes, stakeholder management and management of multiple 3rd party system integrators. It’s essential to have strong presentation and communication skills for this role so a good understanding of Microsoft Office suite is needed. You will also negotiate and build consensus whilst influencing team members and have a knowledge of functional areas of production, warehouse, and supply chain.
