A typical day for a Quality Assurance RN includes:
- Completing client admissions
- Conducting quarterly audits for branch and random OASIS form audits
- Conducting RC reviews for staff with poor quality scores
- Serving as backup when/if staff shortages or vacations occur
- Participating in QAPI committee
- Serving as the alternate administrator for branch office
What We’re Looking For:
- High level of organization skills
- Excellent problem-solving abilities
- Strong communication skills, oral and written
- Excellent interpersonal skills
- Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite
Qualifications:
- Current State of Ohio or multistate RN license
- Two (2) years of experience working as an RN
- Knowledge of health administration regulations and standards, health information
management, and Medicaid, Waiver and Home health service lines.
- Prior audit experience preferred
Physical Requirements:
- Ability to move or traverse about in offices and/or client homes, including ascending and descending stairs.
