Job Summary
As an SDET Engineer, you should be able to atomate tests through use of test automation tools and through code development, interacting with Software Development team in order to complete ticket cycles, analyzing system and applications and propose test strategy, participating in technical discussions with customer, coordinating with development team to drive product quality, reporting/monitoring/verifying issues in defect tracking tool and working in a dynamic, collaborative, and transparent environment where talent is valued over a role title.
Responsibilities and Duties
Automate tests through use of test automation tools and through code development;
Interact with Software Development team in order to complete ticket cycles;
Analyze system and applications and propose test strategy;
Participate in technical discussions with customer;
Coordinate with development team to drive product quality;
Report/Monitor/Verify issues in defect tracking tool (JIRA, Bugzilla, etc);
Work in a dynamic, collaborative, and transparent environment where talent is valued over a role title.
Essential Skills
Experience with Python and/or Javascript for testing;
Knowledge of creating scripts using automated testing tools;
Experience with Web Applications testing tools;
Experience with APIs testing tools;
Experience with Cucumber or other BDD framework;
Experience with Jira Platform.
Highly Desirable Skills
Experience developing test cases/plans and ability to analyze code to identify root cause of issues;
Experience working with testing tools: Robot Framework / Pytest Framework / Selenium / Jest;
Experience working in an Agile / Scrum / Kanban environment;
Medium Linux knowledge.
