Job description

Who We Are

Good Inside isn’t just another parenting resource—we’re creating an entirely new category that recognizes parenting as a skill to be learned and practiced, challenging the myth that it should “just come naturally.” Our approach? Sturdy leadership supported by cutting-edge technology. We believe parents deserve to be at the forefront of the tech revolution and so we created an app that offers personalized guidance, an AI-driven parenting advisor, and a global community of like-valued parents.

Founded by Dr. Becky Kennedy and Dr. Erica Belsky, we’re on a mission to solve one of humanity’s most complex challenges: raising resilient, confident kids in an ever-changing world. We have revolutionized how parents learn, grow, and connect - making expert guidance and community support accessible and engaging for millions of families worldwide. We’re off to a great start and we know our product is changing lives - which means we’re gearing up for our next big leap: refining our product and expanding reach to empower even more parents worldwide.

At Good Inside, we’re looking for relentless problem solvers who light up at the chance to do hard things and create an entirely new category of company. If you’re passionate about leveraging tech to empower millions of families and driven to make a lasting impact on society, we want you on our team. Join us in shaping the future of parenting and being at the forefront of social change.

The Opportunity

We’re looking for a strategic and detail-oriented Manager of Search Engine Marketing (SEM) to join the Growth Marketing team at Good Inside. In this role, you’ll take ownership of paid search strategy and execution across Google, Bing, and other relevant platforms, helping drive efficient subscription and revenue growth.

You’ll be the go-to expert on all things SEM—from campaign setup to bid strategies and keyword optimization—bringing both analytical rigor and creative thinking to a high-impact channel.

📍Hybrid opportunity with 3x days a week in our New York, NY Office

⬆️ Reports to: Director of Growth

What You’ll Own

  • Lead the end-to-end execution of paid search campaigns across Google, Bing, and other engines with a focus on customer acquisition, efficiency, and lifetime value.
  • Own campaign builds, keyword expansion, ad copy development, A/B testing, and budget pacing—this is a hands-on-keyboard role.
  • Manage campaign operations through Google Ads/SA360, ensuring automation and optimizations are driving performance at scale.
  • Monitor daily performance and make proactive, data-informed adjustments to drive ROI and meet customer acquisition cost (CAC) targets.
  • Develop SEM reporting dashboards in partnership with Analytics; analyze performance trends and communicate insights to stakeholders.
  • Collaborate with Lifecycle, Creative, and Product teams to align SEM efforts with broader marketing strategies and optimize the full funnel.
  • Stay on top of search platform updates, competitor strategies, and emerging best practices—proactively testing and applying new learnings.
  • Support forecasting and scenario planning across paid search, working closely with the Director of Growth Marketing.
  • Partner with and own agency relationships
  • SEO/AI knowledge a plus

Your Skills & Experience

  • 3-5 years of hands-on paid search experience with a proven track record of managing efficient, scalable SEM programs.
  • Expert in Google Ads, Bing Ads, and Search Ads 360 (SA360); additional experience with Apple Search, YouTube, or display is a plus.
  • Strong analytical mindset; fluent in Excel/Google Sheets, and able to derive insights from performance data.
  • Experience with Amplitude, Mode or similar
  • Deep understanding of SEM bidding models, attribution, and optimization tactics.
  • Experience managing toward acquisition and efficiency metrics (CPA, ROAS, LTV:CAC).
  • Strong communication and cross-functional collaboration skills.
  • Experience in a startup, DTC subscription, or performance-driven environment preferred.
  • Passion for Good Inside’s mission and a genuine desire to help parents feel supported and empowered.

What We Offer

  • Compensation + Equity: Annual salary for this role will be $110k - $125k
  • Comprehensive benefits package
  • 401k + Company match
  • Time off to recharge
  • Hybrid work environment
  • A high-ownership, high-performance, high-collaboration culture
