About the role
Join our rapidly growing team as a Senior Data Analyst in a dynamic role with high visibility and direct interaction with senior leadership. You’ll work in a flat, collaborative environment where your contributions directly influence business growth and product development.
Responsibilities
- Drive data-driven culture across the organization through Agile processes, roadmap planning, and cross-functional collaboration with engineering, operations, and product teams.
- Lead analytics strategy by defining product performance measurements, designing experiments, and representing analytics in technical discussions on data infrastructure.
- Partner with stakeholders to understand business needs and co-design data science products that deliver meaningful impact to customers and the business.
- Develop dashboards and self-service tools while establishing structured processes for managing analytics requests across the organization.
- Extract actionable insights from complex data, providing clear conclusions and recommendations that drive business decisions and outcomes.
- Share expertise and foster learning by contributing to product design, challenging ideas, and exchanging knowledge with fellow data experts to strengthen team capabilities.
Qualifications
Skills and experience
- Technical Expertise: Proficient in SQL for large, complex datasets; Python/R experience preferred; familiar with database systems and data pipeline debugging.
- Analytics & Experimentation: Strong understanding of A/B testing, statistical analysis, cohort/funnel analysis, and digital analytics (web/app).
- Data Visualization: Experience with Tableau, Power BI, Looker, or similar platforms for creating compelling dashboards and reports.
- Stakeholder Influence: Proven ability to challenge assumptions, advocate for data-driven decisions, and communicate insights effectively across all organizational levels.
- Automation & Quality: Experience designing workflow automation and implementing rigorous data validation processes to ensure accuracy and reliability.
- Leadership & Prioritization: Exceptional judgment in balancing speed vs. quality, managing multiple priorities independently, and driving progress in ambiguous situations.
- Collaboration: Strong communication skills with ability to work autonomously while building cross-functional partnerships and contributing to team success.
Other Qualifications, Skills and Experience
- Advanced Analytics: Multi-dimensional analysis of complex datasets across time, user segments, and product behaviors; strong statistical foundation for A/B testing and experimentation design.
- SEO & Marketplace Expertise: Experience with Google Search Console data analysis and two-sided marketplace dynamics, including supply-demand interactions.
- Cloud & ML Technologies: Hands-on experience with Databricks, AWS services (S3, Redshift, Athena), machine learning techniques, and exposure to large language models (LLMs).
- Technical Integration: Familiarity with front-end technologies (HTML, CSS, JavaScript) to support analytics implementation and engineering collaboration.
