- Develop, support, and maintain CI/CD frameworks for both Web and Mobile to make it easier for developers to ship new features while maintaining a stable client for customers.
- Train, evangelize, and mentor our engineering teams to raise the bar, increase DevOps maturity, and our ability to execute on the company’s goals. You will embrace continuous learning and foster this objective in others
- Coordinate closely with the development teams, ensuring that they have the tools, know-how, and processes to achieve their goals
- Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to application development, deployment, and operations
- Ensure that the goals of performance, security, resilience, cost optimization, and operational efficiency are an integral part of all our projects.
- Understanding of Node upgrade process, be able to understand Node services, node libraries and collaborating in GIT.
- are expected to manage and handle PROD deployment, define and follow process and be on cadence, know escalation routes – availability is critical.
- Document Release process which needs to be followed, create escalation metrics.
- Prepare error reporting, threshold and alert machenism.
- Performs roll back and spike analysis.
- Must have 5-8 years of active Dev / DevOps / Release experiences.
- Must be good in communication.
- Good understanding of BE / FE tech stack and Java code deployment insights.
- Managing Priorities, understanding of Cloud Eco system and what Release means
- Exp working with Leadership as they will work with eBay Engineering leads.
- CI/CD Automation tools.
